About Me
I'm a systemically-trained, trauma-informed therapist who primarily works with individuals and couples.
My primary goal is to help you see through the layers of conditioning to help you live a more connected and authentic life. The main pillars of my process include: understanding your conditioning, feeling into difficult emotions instead of running or distracting, setting aside coping strategies that are no longer helpful, striking a balance between acceptance and action, and tapping into the essence of who you are beyond your experience.
I strive to create a safe, relaxed, and curious environment. I believe it is my job to challenge you, yet, clients can also expect our sessions to feel comfortable and casual. I hold the client-therapist relationship in high regard and believe it is one of the most valuable platforms for change.
I completed my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy at The Family Institute at Northwestern University. I've also completed the change coach certification program through The Little School of Big Change with Dr. Amy Johnson.
